I've been playing Street Fighter IV over the weekend (although I really wanted to play Tatsunoko vs Capcom first). I was slightly worried that it wouldn't feel like a Street Fighter game, the characters being texture mapped polygons instead of animated sprites as Street Fighter EX tried to be a 3D Street Fighter, but wasn't really that good. But having played for three days, I'm quite happy with the game, especially the animation in the backgrounds, which actually caused me to loose a round or two.
I haven't been able to unlock Gouken yet! Since reading Udin's first Street Fighter series, I was slightly dismayed by the choice of character they chose to portray Ken & Ryu's master. They chose to use a character design from the Street Fighter Zero OVA that, during a narration from Gouken, I took to be Gouki's master Goutetsu. I'd really like to see for myself whether Capcom follow Udon's lead. I'm also curious as to whether they'll release any updates for the game (that aren't just costume changes for existing characters) after spotting Yun & Yang in Chun Li's opening cinematic.

I should have asked for a second opinion on that tagline.

I was just so excited to find my copy of Super Junky Monkeys Screw Up had arrived this morning that I just had to drop everything to show you. I've been wanting to get my hands on this for over ten years, but the fact that it was deleted made it rather difficult to get hold of, but as it was one of the few SJM albums to be released outside of Japan the likelihood of finding a copy was slightly better than Super Junky Alien or Songs are our Universe.
In other news, I looked in the mirror last night & I looked as though I had been wearing mascara while crying as there was a rather pronounced shadow under my eyes. It could be down to malnutrition, as I had almost nothing to eat at all last weekend.
Suspension of service shall now resume.

I added the title for 'The Phantom Syndrome'.
It's been a while since I first set it up & I forgot which fonts I was using.

Been toning pages & have just got around to lettering.
But have only got as far as page three.
There were just too many tones to choose from.

Taken from the final page of The Kawakiri: Second Chapter.
Which leaves the Frontispiece, recap, & a page or two about Koalas. That's on top of toning & lettering.
Then there's one page that requires content, as I received some fanart from Sunkitten earlier today.

As I'm almost ready to send my work off to the printer (almost meaning still a week awayfrom) I checked with the printer, but unfortunately learned that as I wasn't able to place my order before February 7th, I won't be able to get it printed before Megacon.
Which doesn't really affect me as a) I'm not going to Megacon & b) I won't have the thing lettered & toned before Megacon even begins. Not that I'm lazy, but I've got almost forty pages to finish.

It's been years since I last drew Krogshoj, sometime around 2003.

Still I did manage to get a complete set of Bill Sienkiewicz's 'Stray Toasters' for less than £10. Made back in 1988 during the original graphic novel boom, it'd something that can only be compared to Dave Mc Keans work on 'Violent Cases', 'Black Orchid', 'Signal to Noise' or 'Mr Punch'.
But I haven't got around to reading it yet. I'm still undecided as to whether I should put something together to be printed by Ka-Blam. The only problem being that I remember the first Stir Fried Product taking about two weeks to get here, & I've only got two & a half weeks to spare.
